1. Would you rather have a pet hippo or a pet elephant?
Elephant.
2. Why do you think bananas are shaped the way they are?
So people like me will think of naughty things when asked this questions 
3. In one word (OK, you can go three to four MAX) , what do most people describe you as? Nice, sweet, funny.
4. Choice (stupid but a choice…): Loss of vision, ability to speak or hearing – which do you choose? (you have to choose one….) It’s like a law. But we can’t make you. I’d go with loss of hearing. I love looking at my beautiful daughter but some days, like when she’s shrieking at the top of her lungs for fun, I could definitely go without hearing her
5. Do you like lemons? Do you use them to clean with or just as a food source? Or are you saving them up for 2012? I use them with food and then I squeeze any juice left into my drains to make them smell better.
6. When you are feeling icky with that sickness feeling, what is your first choice for feel-better medicine? NyQuil!
7. You are starving. You have not had anything to eat for days. In front of you is poison ivy, a live hissing cockroach, and a rotten stinky piece of some sort of mystery meat to eat. Which would you pick and why? Unfortunately, I’d probably starve to death because I have an incredibly weak stomach and would not be able to choose any of these.
8. Who was the last person you bought a present for? What was it? Will you buy Berleen one? I bought something for my niece, who hasn’t arrived yet and I don’t want to share what it is in case my sister in law reads this. If Berleen is expecting, I would gladly buy her one too!
9. Name 3 things you want your kids to learn before they grow up. (If you don’t have kids, feel free to explain to the other players why you chose the “no kids“ choice. Yea. I know. (Those who have children will NEVER get it. And no, don‘t explain it…) 1. To always be polite and kind to others. 2. That you don’t need a man to be happy or to do things for you. 3. That you may have to take care of me someday so be careful what you do now or I can make it hell on you when I’m old and gray!
10. What was your favorite toy as a child? What happened to it? A stuffed bear. I still have it in my sweetheart chest.
11. If you could paint your house ANY color you wanted and your friends, family & neighbors would love the color from the moment they saw it, what would it be? I really love the color of the house across the street so I will go with that and say a really light, creamy yellow.
12. If the Pillsbury Dough Boy got into a fight with Mrs. Butterworth who would win? And would anybody get hurt? And do we seem desperate even asking? No contest! Mrs. Butterworth would totally kick the Dough Boy’s butt. I mean come on, he’s a dough boy!
13. What was the last thing you would guess that Kimber took a picture of? Oh. And consider the meme listed below. Click on it. It rocks. Well, I’m guess it has something to do with music And that meme does rock!

Some a-hole who pulled out in front of me, causing me to slam on my breaks. Part of me want to just run over him since I have a big truck and he had a small car but since I had my daughter with me, I refrained
2. If you had 1,000 dollars and HAD to spend it, what would you buy? Clothes for the whole family and a Netbook for me OR I would update the old cupboards in my kitchen because the make the room look so outdated!
3. What was the last beverage you spilled on yourself? Coffee, this morning 
4. When was the last photograph you took? What was it of?
Today, it was a picture of Lauryn in her cute, new pj’s
5. Who was the last person to smoke a cigarette in your presence?

I’m not superstitious.

“On my way” from my husband, letting me know he was on his way home from work.
9. Berleen has decided to buy twelve goats. If she trades three for some awesome pot, loses one while she was stoned, what do you think she did with the rest?
Hmmm…tough one. My guess is that they are in a field grazing because they probably have a contact buzz!
10. What was the last musical instrument played in your presence?
A guitar.
11. What was the last note that you wrote on your hand?
I have no idea. I haven’t written on my hands since I was in school.
12. Kimber announced that she was born on another planet. Which one do you think it was and why?
Uranus….just because I’m having a childish moment and it was the first one that popped into my head

A. If you see a tornado out your window, what do you do? Get my daughter, my husband and my dog and get to the basement.
B. A celebrity knocks on your door saying that their tour bus/limo/pedal bike broke down (you pick the transportation)… who is it and what do you do to help them? It’s Shemar Moore so OF COURSE I help him
C. Brett is back on the Vikings – do you really give a crap? Nope.
D. What side of the bed do you think Bud sleeps on? In the middle, with the twins on either side.
E. Cookie Monster eats vegetables now. Is this ok with you? Fine by me…although a slimmer Cookie Monster just seems wrong.
F. All the TT’s get together for coffee… which state do we meet in? Which ever state is cool with zero humidity…I’m in MI and this summer has been WAY too hot!
G. Is the town you live in famous for anything? Infamous for anything? I don’t think the town itself is but a few weeks ago I saw a guy (Barry Watson) on American Greed. He was a the valedictorian at the high school here in my home town (my mom was a grade or two below him) and he scammed a lot of people out of A LOT of money. He killed himself so he wouldn’t have to deal with the consequences.
H. Coffee flavored bubble gum – would you? No.
I. So Kimber lost her fight with a granite table…. what did you ever lose a fight with? My dog. I trip over her all of the time! She’s 85 lbs. and always right under my feet. The last time a set of patio cushions broke my fall and kept me from getting pretty hurt.
J. Have you ever slept beneath the stars? Yes.
K. School is starting up soon, or has for some, did you get a new pair of tennis shoes every year while you were in school? Yes. Tennis shoes and dress shoes.
L. What two flavors do you love that you would never want to taste at the same time? Chocolate milk and salsa.

1. What radio personality bothers you the most? I rarely listen to the radio anymore. I guess there are a couple of guys on 104.5 that I think are a little lame.

Probably for a little while. I’m a pretty picky eater though so I’m sure I’d starve to death

Thursday Thunks: Welcome to Summertime 2010!

1. It became officially summer on Monday. What’s your favorite part of winter? When it’s over!
2. What was your worst summer vacation ever? There was one year that Lloyd and I went camping with his family and that was fun but driving home in my 89′ VW Rabbit that had to have the heat on in 90+ degree weather with no radio really sucked!!!
3. Kimber’s husband just got the dream job that he’s hoped for. So a big shout out to her and Anthony! Tell us about the best job that you ever had.
Honestly, the job I do now, being a stay-at-home mom is the best job I’ve ever had
4. Who is probably talking a load of crap about you right now?
I can’t think of anyone.
5. An alien appears and offers you the opportunity to repeat one year of your life. You will still know everything that you know now. He explains that no matter what you do differently, when you are returned to the present nothing will have changed. What year would you pick and why?
If nothing changes in the end, why redo anything?
6. Name three things you have on you at all times. Explain why.
Wedding rings – I RARELY take them off, Cell phone – that one pretty obvious and vitacost coupons – I keep them in bag because you never know when you can catch a great deal on vitamins
7. When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper and mailed it?
Just a few weeks ago.
8. If you could have everyone in the blogosphere read just one of your posts, which post would you pick and why?
Hmmm….the strawberry dessert recipe I posted. The world would be a much happier place if everyone had a chance to eat that It’s that good!
9. I recently read that the music industry continues to decline at an alarming rate. In the last year it said the sales of Michael Jackson’s and The Beatles’ music are the only artists who sales continue to climb. The article stated that the two are holding up the industry. Have you bought a CD or mp3 of either artist recently? I think I bought an MJ mp3 song for my mom recently.
10. What radio ad right now do you find so annoying that you’d rather have a tooth drilled than hear it again? I don’t listen the radio much anymore so I have no idea what ads are playing.
11. Berleen walks into a bar on a hot Minnesota day. At the bar sits a priest, a rabbi and a minister. A ten foot duck walks into the bar right after Berleen. What drink do you think Berleen orders?

9. What’s the oddest thing you have sitting on your computer desk right now or where ever it is you may be sitting with a laptop (you could be sitting at a Starbucks with an alien from Mars for all we know)? A small Christmas ornament that didn’t get put away.

At the moment I can’t think of any great friends that I haven’t seen in years. I’m still very close to my great friends

Just yourself and a guest if you want….If I’m hosting party/get together, I like to take care of everything myself

Depends on the guest!
6. If you could pick a new color for the sky, what would you pick?
I wouldn’t want to change the sky…it looks great to me no matter what color it is. Blue and clear, pink and orange from the sun setting or dark and gray because of a storm…I love it all!
7. What did you think of the Olympics?
I don’t really get into them. And I really don’t get curling!
8. Could TT have thought of a lamer blogger that me to guest host?

9. What’s the stupidest lie that someone really thought you’d believe?
When my step sister and I were kids, her older cousin came to stay the night and she was trying to convince us that her boyfriend was hiding in the tree outside and that they were using sign language to communicate….we were young but come on!
10. What was the best day you had in high school? Tell us about it.
It was actually a band moment. I played the flute and was always last chair because I didn’t like taking the tests in front of the whole band. One day, I decided to go for it and ended up being 4th chair Blew the band teacher away!
11. Name something that you have in your home that you are sure most people don’t.

I’ve heard of it, something about seeing the lame and weird things people who are looking for a date say, but I tend to stick to the couple of memes I do every week.

I don’t know. I guess personally, I don’t get why anyone would have a phobia of gay people….arachnophobia on the other hand makes perfect sense! Damn spiders anyway!

2. If you could make turtle shells any color you wanted, what color would turtles be?
I’d keep them green…I like the color.
3. How fast do hotcakes sell? My guess would be pretty fast…they probably aren’t as good when they’re cold cakes!
4. Can cannibals be arrested for being under the influence of alcohol if they have eaten someone who was drunk? That’s funny!
5. If I had my legs amputated, would I have to change my height and weight on my driver’s license? You may not be needing your driver’s license anymore so I’m not sure.

7. Do you make stupid little baby noises when talking to your pets? No, I have a big dog…she needs to be talked to in a big voice

10. If you were to name an alcoholic drink, what would it be called? Carielle’s cocktail…I don’t know…it sounds catchy
