Week Number 234

1) What sound makes you grind your teeth and want to scream?
Ironically, the sound of grinding teeth has that effect on me.

Depends on the room.

1) How often do you whisper?  I’d have to say daily.  Either because Lauryn is napping or sometimes I whisper to her to get her to tell her daddy things

2) When was the last time you called a help hotline? Did it solve the problem?  It was just the other day.  I had a few questions about insurance marketing.  My questions were solved

3) How much time do you spend on yourself daily on average? That depends on what I’m doing that day.  If it’s laundry, cleaning, etc., then I don’t spend a whole lot of time but if I’m going out I like to have my hair done and make up on and that takes about a half hour or so.

This reminds me of the many, many times my step sister and I would walk the railroad tracks through town when we were growing up.  Lot of fun memories

Week Number 205

1) Tell about a snowball fight you had.
I don’t think I’ve ever been in one.  I used to like the snow when I was a kid but was never a big fan of snowball fights.
2) Where is the best hiding place you know of?
If I told it would no longer be a hiding place
3) What extracurricular activities did you do while at school?
Varsity Singers and cheerleading (for one football season).

This is probably what my husband and his friends looked like after a long night when he was in college

1) Have you ever been in a car accident? What happened?
One small fender bender and one deer/car accident…I wasn’t behind the wheel either time and fortunately no one was hurt.
2) Have you ever been in a play? If so, do you remember any of your lines?
I was when I was in elementary school and when I was a Brownie.  I don’t remember the plays or the lines.
3) How often do you go to the park? What do you usually there?
Not often enough.  Depends, sometimes it’s for a family get together or sometimes just to hang out with Lauryn.
4) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.  I just got a new magazine and there is an article on using items similar to these to make your house look like the fall.

1) Do you wear fur? Leather?
I don’t wear fur, unless you count the numerous hairs I pick off myself when Cloz’r is shedding and I think I do have some boots/shoes that are leather.
2) What are your favorite museums, galleries, or theaters in your area?
I love the Van Andel museum and the Frederick Meijer Gardens.
3) Do you think it’s important to keep traditions?

Definitely…even when they are traditions that scare the crap out of me – like my in-laws tradition of the bride dancing on the bar at Shiel’s Tavern (I’m extremely afraid of heights!) on the way to the reception.

4) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.  This reminds me of hearing the Star Spangled Banner during sporting events and then seeing the planes fly over.

Sorry I’m late today…

1) What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?
Mussels….they were strange and gross
2) Where is your favorite place to shop for clothes?
I’m not big on shopping but I’d have to say Kohl’s.
3) Describe your perfect day?
One that is spent with my husband and my daughter.

Week Number 179

1) Do you express how you feel or do you keep it inside?
That depends.  I guess I usually express how I feel but sometimes I keep it inside until I can figure out how to express it without hurting someone else’s feelings or completely going off the deep end.
2) Are you a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper?

I have not been a heavy sleeper since I became a mom!

3) Do you remember the first names of all the bosses you’ve ever had?

No.  There’s only one boss whose name completely escapes me.

I’m trying to determine what this picture is.  It looks like a man, but kind of has a “feathery” tail and a horse mane.
