Today was a great day!  I actually got a decent nights sleep last night and woke up feeling semi-energetic!  I cleared out the dishwasher, swept the house and did a load of laundry.  Just before I got in the shower, I got the phone call I was waiting for.  My brother was calling to tell me that his son had been born!  Shane Patric Jr. was born just after 11 am and weighed in at 9lbs. 7oz. and is 20 1/2″ long.  I couldn’t wait to meet him!  After Lauryn and I got ready, we headed to Grand Rapids to pick Lloyd up and headed to my doctor appointment for my 34 week check-up.  Everything is right on track.  Lucas’s heartbeat was at 152 bpm, he’s measuring at 35 weeks, my blood pressure was down and the labs to check for pre-eclampsia from my last appointment were great.  After we dropped Lloyd off at work, we headed to the floral shop to pick up some flowers for my sister-in-law, picked up my mom and then went to the hospital to meet my nephew.  He’s adorable!  He has the sweetest little chubby cheeks!  My sister-in-law looked great, not at all like she’d had a 9lb. baby a few hours before   After a nice visit and a lot of pictures, we dropped my mom back at her house and then picked up some dinner at McDonald’s.  The rest of the evening is going to be spent by getting into some jammies, getting Lauryn to bed and watching my man, Randy Orton, RKO someone!
