5 Uses for Hairspray:
1. Use hairspray as an insecticide when you are out of bug spray. It’s safer to use around children and will give you the same result.
2. Use hairspray to help remove pet hair from furniture. Simply spray an old cloth with the spray and as you’re wiping your furniture down, the hair will stick to the cloth.
3. Save your childrens artwork. Before hanging it up on the fridge, spray a little hairspray on it to help preserve it and keep it from smudging.
4. Stick an stubborn zipper. If you have a zipper that just won’t stay in it’s place (and you don’t want to show the world your goodies
), spray it with a little hairspray it will stay in place.
5. Remove ink from walls. Spray hairspray on the ink and wipe it away.

If you notice your some odd smells in your kitchen, you might try these solutions to take care of the problems.
1. If you have a stinky garbage disposal, throw a few citrus peels (oranges, lemons, etc.) in it and grind away the smell.
2. Soak a few cotton balls in vanilla extract and place in an open container in your fridge. This will help with unwanted odors.
3. Place a coffee filter with unused coffee grounds in your fridge to help absorb unpleasant smells.

1. Coffeemaker ~ Flip the lid open and dip a toothbrush in a mix of 1 part vinegar and 1 part water. This will scrub away old grounds, mineral deposits and stains.
2. Bathroom Faucets ~ A toothbrush scrubs between the tiles and around faucets with ease.
3. Stove Burners and Kitchen Controls ~ A toothbrush helps caked-on food come right off. Dip it in soapy water to clean the oven knobs and dishwasher buttons.
4. Stained Clothes ~ After you let the stain soak in stain remover, scrub the fabric from the backside with a toothbrush.
5. Brushes and Combs ~ Run a toothbrush between the bristles or teeth to get out the sticky hairspray residue and other hair products.

5 Things to do With Alka-Seltzer:
1. Scrub the toilet ~ Twice a week, drop two tablets into the bowl; let it sit for 15 minutes, then do a once around with the toilet brush.
2. Make an all-purpose cleaner ~ Drop three tablets into 8 oz. of warm water. Once the fizzing stops, you can wipe down tiles, tubs and counters.
3. Deep clean vases ~ Fill with warm water and drop two tablets in. Let soak for an hour to remove stains you can’t reach.
4. Safely unclog a drain ~ Drop three tablets into the drain and run hot water for a few seconds – the hotter the water, the more fizzing – Let sit for 15 minutes.
5. Build rockets for the kids ~ Go outside with an empty film canister, filled half way with warm water and drop in a half tablet. Snap on the lid and place the canister lid down. Take a step back and watch it launch!

5 Things To Do With Aluminum Foil:
1. Iron ~ Place a sheet of foil between the ironing board and cover to iron both sides at once. Foil conducts heat, so you will be done in half the time.
2. Scrub Burnt Pots ~ If you’ve run out of steel wool and have a pot with stubborn stains, ball up a pieces of foil and scrub away. It works just as well.
3. Clean Your Grill ~ Just like with the pots, ball up a piece of foil and clean the grates on your grill.
4. Tie Things Up ~ A thin strip of foil is the perfect solution to tie the legs on your roaster or veggies you don’t want falling apart in the oven.
5. Prevent Soup Skin ~ Cut a piece of foil to fit the size of the container you’re using and rest it directly on the surface of the soup or stew. Cover and store.

Here are 5 Things to do with Flour:
1. Clean playing cards ~ When your cards are looking a little gray, put them in a plastic bag with a half-cup of flour. Shake for a minute. Remove the cards and shuffle the deck a few times over the sink to clear.
2. Clean heavy white fabrics ~ Spot clean white canvas, leather, faux leather, vinyl and even curtains by rubbing flour into the dirt lines, then brushing them clean.
3. Make clay ~ Knead together 1 cup water, 3 cups flour and 1 tsp. vegetable oil. Add food color. To store, moisten and wrap in plastic wrap and put in the fridge.
4. Unstick a lid ~ If you have a plastic container that closes a little too tightly, dip the edge of the container in flour to prevent it from sticking.
5. Mix up some glue ~ Whip up craft glue for the kiddies by mixing one part flour with 3 parts water. Boil, stirring until it becomes a paste. Store it in the fridge.

Here are 4 things to do with Table Salt:
1. De-Ice your doorway in the winter ~ Keep a container of it near the front door. Sprinkle it over the front steps to prevent icy falls.
2. Remove odors from your hands ~ Dip your fingers in salt moistened by vinegar and rub together. Will remove strong smells, such as garlic and other spices.
3. Scrub kitchen grease stains ~ Just sprinkle salt on the stain and wipe with a sponge.
4. Set tie-dye ~ After creating your tie-dyed item, soak it in a mixture of two cups warm water to 1/3 c. salt for 20 minutes so colors won’t run in the wash.
One thing NOT to do with table salt ~ Do not clean wine stains with it – salt actually sets the color.

5 Things To Do With Hand Lotion
1. Shave ~ Use hand lotion as a stand-in when you’ve run out of shaving cream. It works and your legs with stay moisturized afterward.
2. Tame Frizz ~ Use a small amount of lotion rubbed into your fingertips just a little and run your hands over your hair.
3. Polish Shoes ~ A little bit of lotion buffed in with a cloth makes leather shoes shine!
4. Get Rid of Static Cling ~ Put a small amount of lotion on your hands and rub it over your clothes or pantyhose.
5. Get Soft Hands ~ In the winter, keep a bottle of lotion near your gloves and apply some every time you put them on.
