Recently, my aunt asked me if I could make her a case for her sunglasses.  She said to match her purse and wallet, different shades of pink and magenta would work.  She seemed to really like the finished product.  Here it is:

I have a ton of scrap yarn and have been meaning to get it used up.  I used to think about making a big granny square blanket with it.  I really like making granny squares but honestly, I have zero desire to put them all together   So, I started making slipper socks.  This was my first pair:

They are really warm and comfy!  I’m almost finished with a pair for Lloyd and my mom has some yarn she wants me to use to make her some.  They are really nice to do because they work up so fast and it’s great using up all of that scrap yarn

I finished Lauryn’s blanket the other day and I’m really proud of this one!  I love the pattern, I love the colors and I want to make one for my bed – using different colors though.  I don’t think Lloyd would be thrilled with these colors on our bed
